You
As you stand there looking,
I wonder what you’re
thinking.
You turn around to face me.
I smile as I hear your
voice.
That voice that I love to
hear.
A voice as deep as my love
for you.
You ask me if I’m happy.
Why wouldn’t I be I replied.
You walk towards me.
Taking my hands in yours.
You pull me closer,
Giving me a warm embrace.
I feel your arms around me.
I know this is the way it
should be.
You ask me again if I’m
happy.
Why wouldn’t I be I replied
once again.
You look at me.
Those eyes mesmerize me.
Making me think of the
reasons I love you.
You run a finger down the
side of my face,
Still keeping your eyes
locked with mine.
We smile at each other.
Once again you ask me if I’m
happy.
Yes I’m happy, I have you I
replied.
You Think
You think
I like you?
Well
you're wrong.
I don't
like you.
I hate
every inch of your body.
I hate
what you did to me.
You left
me alone out in the cold.
You left
me out there bleeding
And crying
in pain.
You think
I like you?
You're
wrong,
Dead
wrong.
I hate the
very earth you walk on.
You called
me untrustworthy.
Told me I
wasn't good at something,
Something
I know damn well I'm good at.
You don't
believe me ask my "clients".
You think
I like you?
How could
you think that?
Maybe at
one point I did…
But not
anymore.
You're the
one that stopped liking me first.
You forced
me to stop liking you.
You put
words in my mouth.
You threw
my name in the dirt and smothered it.
You think
I like you?
You're
wrong
I hate
every thing you stand for.
Everything
you represent.
You like
smothering my name and others.
IT wasn't
right,
Even if
everything you do has to be right.
Not
everything you do is the correct way.
You think
I hate you?
Well for
once you thought the right thing.
I do hate
you,
I hate you
more then you'll ever know.
A Found Love
The girl traveled the
world round,
Looking for love.
When one day she
stumbled upon,
An orange cat.
The cat looked up at
the girl,
Wondering if he could
trust her,
The last girl had
changed him.
Would this one do the
same?
The girl noticed that
cat was scared.
She knelt down near
the cat.
She put out one of
her hands for him to smell,
Well with the other
she pets him.
The cat smells the
girl’s hand,
Realizing that she
was different from the rest.
He started to purr,
Something he hadn’t
done in awhile.
The girl smiled as
the cat purred.
She had a strange
feeling about him,
But she couldn’t
place it.
She just knew he was
different somehow.
Then all of a sudden
there was a flash of light,
The cat was gone, but
in his place stood a man.
He looked down at the
girl,
Noticing that it was
she that was frightened now.
The girl looked
around for the cat,
But all she saw was a
man where the cat had been.
She backed away from
the man,
Not knowing what to
do.
The man wanted to
tell her how grateful he was,
But he couldn’t all
that came out was a purr.
He covered his mouth
embarrassed.
The man hung his head
in silence.
The girl looked at
the man puzzled.
She then realized
that,
This man was the cat.
This was his true
form.
The man still wanting
to thank the girl,
Couldn’t find the
words.
He only seemed to
talk like a cat,
Even though he was
human again.
The girl walked over
to the man,
She lifted his head.
“You’re welcome,” she
said.
She turned to go.
“Wait,” he said as he
reached for her.
“Thank you, you have
proven,
That there is
kindness,
In this world of
hate.”
The girl smiled.
“No matter where you
look,
There’s always
kindness.”
She started to walk
again.
“I don’t even know
your name,”
The man said to her
back.
“You must be the
one.”
He whispered.
The girl stopped,
She turned around.
“They call me Sam,”
She said.
“Sam, thank you
again,”
The man said.
“I must be going.
I must keep
traveling.”
Sam watched as the
man walked away.
She turned towards
the city.
Then looked back at
the man.
She shook her head
and ran after him.
The man stopped,
Thinking he had
forgotten something.
He turned around and
saw Sam running towards him.
Then realizing it was
Sam he had forgotten.
Sam ran into the
man’s arms.
She knew that this
was what she had come looking for.
She knew that this
man,
Was the love she was
looking for.
The man held Sam
close.
He knew that she was
the one for him.
That she wouldn’t
hurt him like the others.
The man looked down
at Sam and smiled.
